Manoj Jarange started out demanding reservations for Marathas. He got huge support from the Maratha community. Then he started abusing BJP and especially targeting Devendra Fadnavis. Used choicest of foul words and even threats against Fadnavis. Marathas blindly subscribed to him and cheered him on every time he abused Brahmin Fadnavis.

As a result, huge section of Maratha voters blamed BJP and voted for Congress & NCP in recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

Now he is demanding reservation for Muslims from OBC quota in Maharashtra; just like Congress has done in Karnataka and Telangana.

Now when Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha elections come in October, MVA (Congress + Sharad Pawar + Uddhav Thackeray combine) will promise that if they come to power in the state, they will give OBC reservation to Muslims.

Muslims will turn out in record numbers and vote for MVA. Hindu votes will be split, with a large segment of Marathas shunning BJP. Rest of Hindus will relax on voting day and not bother to cast their votes.

Result will be that MVA will form government again in Maharashtra. All the stellar development work that is currently under way in Maharashtra will be stalled and huge kickbacks taken to finish them. Consequently, costs will spiral and the extra load will be born by taxpayers.

Moral : Nothing succeeds like caste in Indian politics. 🤡
